What is Partner Advocacy?

Let’s be honest with ourselves here… Partner advocacy seems like a really cool buzz-phrase. I’m sure other companies or agencies use some form of it, but our team put these two terms together a few weeks ago. We were talking about our individual goals and ideas that would make us stand apart from other agencies. Naturally, we went back to scenarios that motivated us enough to start one.

After years of working in a professional setting,

I’ve sat in quite a few vendor/business owner or representative meetings. Both as a vendor and a business representative. I’m sure you’ve been on one side of that table or zoom call. However, how many times have you been told that you’ll be treated as the main priority? How many times did the vendor talk over your head? Finally, how many times have you ended up with a working relationship that made you feel like one among many?

I’ve been there a time or two – in both shoes. Shoot, superiors have even told me in the past to communicate less because we weren’t charging for that time. I hated it, and it went against everything I believed to be right. As a result, I started dreaming of a situation where I could truly be a partner and make a positive change in the businesses I worked with.

Eventually, I was able to get a role in-house as the Director of Marketing at J Ferg Pros. An insanely successful construction company based out of Lubbock, Texas. During that time, I learned more about what businesses actually need and how my experiences could truly add value to small businesses. I dug into the weeds of everything! That meant working in strategies that could bring us the highest ROI, our CRM‘s to ensure our customer’s experience was superb, and I began internal marketing strategies to help our staff feel as valued as they were. It was a dream job that truly taught me how to be a better marketer and advocate for a company and its stakeholders.

I’m proud to bring those experiences to The Tadpole Agency. Our mission from inception was not only to get clients that we could generate leads for, but clients that we could intertwine ourselves with and (wait for it…) advocate for. We want to build relationships, solutions, and strategies that go beyond bringing an email or number into your CRM (or spreadsheet.) Our goal is to be one of the most valuable assets in your business at the end of the day. So, whether that means we’re performing one of our listed services or sitting with your team and brainstorming processes that streamline daily activities, we’re here for you.
